Guillermo Thenoux Zeballos has a M.Sc. from The University of Birmingham, England (1983) and a Ph.D. from Oregon State University, U.S.A. (1987).
Currently he is a Full Professor at the School of Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and teaches Structural Pavement Design, Geometric Pavements Design, Asphalt Pavements (Technology and Construction) and Low Volume Roads Design.
He is currently the director of CIIV (Centro de Ingeniería e Investigación Vial) or Roads Engineering and Research Centre (DICTUC S.A.) where he provides consulting and research to outside interests. CIIV is dedicated to giving expert advice on matters related to road infrastructure.
His main areas of work are in research and technological development, working on projects that benefit the scientific community, as well as the public and private sectors of society. He delivers courses and seminars that share this knowledge.
