The 8th International Conference on Managing Pavement Assets will be hosted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile on November 15-19, 2011 in the city of Santiago, Chile.

The central theme of the conference will be "Fulfilling the Social, Economic and Environmental Responsibilities for Sustainable, Well Managed, Better Roads”. Seven topics have been selected to reflect recent developments and needs in the pavement and transportation asset management area:

• Preservation and Maintenance of Pavement Assets

• Special Requirements/Situations (Local Roads, Airfields, Developing Areas, Resource Roads, Cold Regions, Urban Pavements, Rural Roads, etc.)
